HEALTH & EXERCIZE

YC&AC offers a wide range of fitness classes, with qualified and entertaining instructors able to satisfy members of all needs and levels.

Our classes change by the season—and even the week—so be sure to check the Fitness calendar for the latest schedule, or sign up to the Fitness mailing list for immediate notice of any changes to the routine (fitness@ycac.or.jp).

The fitness classes we currently have on offer are as follows:

HAWAIIAN HULA DANCE
Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m., Studio

Yuka brings her years of experience (from both here and Hawaii) to the YC&AC at a special discounted price! Move with exotic grace that is not just great to do, but expresses stories.

FITNESS CENTRE CIRCUIT CLASS
Wednesdays, 10 a.m., Fitness Centre

A great way to build your confidence and keep motivated within a like-minded group of people. Exercises are led and supervised by Chris through a circuit on the fitness equipment.

BODY SHAPING
Thursdays, 10 a.m., Studio

Mari leads very fun and lively class full of precision-based body shaping & toning exercises - just great!

SUPERCYCLE!
Thursdays, 11 a.m. and Sundays, 12:30 p.m., Studio

This is the Club's most challenging cardio-based class. Using specially built bikes, Mari has her students pumping their bodies through a most exhilarating workout, while keeping it fun!

BODY BLAST
Thursdays, 7:30 p.m., Studio

Join Chris for a series of challenging calisthenics and resistance training exercises. In this session, one exercise leads into the next in a continuous flow, to keep the muscles and heart pumping.

YOGA
Thursdays, 6 p.m., Bay View Room

Shanel brings a package of fun, information, relaxation and exhilaration for those interested in Yoga from beginners all the way to advanced. Her classes are enjoyed by all, so do yourself a favor and try it out!

SPORTS FITNESS
Fridays, 10 a.m., Main Field

Ever miss taking P.E. classes, without all the class work? Come join in as we participate in a variety of sports and games, while building our fitness and skill levels. Try something fun and new!

YOGA
Saturdays, 9:30 a.m., Bay View Room

Kayo's class is an absolutely great way to start your day! Ger your mind and body centered; stronger; more flexible; and relieve you tensions. Kayo has studied various types of Yoga here and abroad, and incorporates them into a great class enjoyed by all (beginners to advanced).

LATIN DANCE
Sundays, 4 p.m., Studio

Billy brings the heat to boys and girls! Learn and burn (the calories) with the hottest latin dance moves!

BELLY DANCE
Sundays, 5 p.m., Studio

Learn this exotic dance while exercising your core muscles and shimmering yourself to a sleeker you. Instructor, Billy, makes sure everyone has a blast! (Belly dance is not only for ladies too!)
